Nothing has changed on my side; same bank account, same email, etc.

Can't make a new account, can't use the existing one. It's really very frustrating. I may lose out on a free month's rent because RentCafe will not let me pay the deposit even though I've been paying rent through it for a few years.

I and the apartment staff have explained the issue four times but yet I am still told to use my email. I am unable to log in and change my phone number; this has been going on for a week.

Even after moving out of my previous apartment, they are sending me text messages to pay past rent or some bill when I have the email confirmation and the statement for all years I lived there are clear and paid off. I do not owe anything but rent café even after I have a new profile in another apartments community, they did not recognize or they did not updated in their system. I have rent café account now in another apartments.
Stupid site that never works and need to reset pass every time

rentcafe is a sham. It does not work.
It will not load on my computer most of the time. It does not work. It rips people off by blocking them off their property site when rent is due, incurring late fees. THE WEBSITE DOES NOT WORK, EVEN WITH LEGIT EMAIL AND PASSWORD.
Stupid waste of time. I don't understand why it is still in existence.

- - DHA says I didn’t respond to housing selection, and my appeal was denied.
- - RentCafe says it sent email, but I never received it or intake certificate.
Was notified by DHA housing about housing selection that I didn't respond. They claim an email was sent to me from RentCafe; I never received any email from RentCafe, and the intake certificate to fill out was never in my portal.
Instead, my portal still shows an intake certification from August of 2023. I reached out to RentCafe, but there was no response from them. I went through the informal review, and RentCafe confirmed they sent the email without any proof I received it, only their word.
My appeal was denied because of that. Totally ridiculous!
